Authenticity & descriptions
ETC Jewelry aims to describe each piece in good faith using observable characteristics, available marks, documentation, and specialist review where appropriate. Unless accompanied by an independent report, age, attribution, gemstone identity, and period descriptions should be understood as informed marketplace descriptions rather than laboratory certifications.
Condition
Vintage and estate jewelry is pre-owned and commonly shows evidence of age, wear, repair, sizing, polishing, or component replacement. Material condition points known to us are disclosed in the listing or during the client inquiry process. Buyers are encouraged to request additional photographs and measurements before purchase.
Shipping
High-value orders should ship with tracking, insurance, and signature confirmation. Shipping eligibility, timing, carrier selection, and insurance limits should be confirmed at the time of purchase. International orders may be subject to duties, taxes, import restrictions, or carrier limitations.
Returns
Because vintage jewelry is often one of one, return eligibility should be confirmed before checkout. Customized, resized, altered, final-sale, or specially sourced pieces may be ineligible for return.
